Review the System After an Interruption
An electric pump relies on an appropriate power supply, but restored power does not explain every operating problem. A control fault, equipment condition or discharge issue may still affect water removal. Describe the event and what the system is doing now.

Review Operation After Power Returns
An outage explains why an electric pump may stop during the interruption, but it does not establish its condition afterward. Report whether the equipment resumed cycling and whether the level drops during operation. Include any slow removal or unusual cycling that happened before power was lost so the earlier issue can be assessed too.
If water is around cords or plugs, keep away from those connections and request help from a safe location. Restoring power should not involve handling wet equipment or entering a flooded area.
